April Fool's Show (and Competition)

Well here we are again, Friday is nearly upon us. There are no fools in this weeks' show (well hopefully not!). My Classic Cuts this week come from a gentleman by the name of Dave Lankester. If that doesn't ring any bells don't worry as he will explain all ! Plus we have a competition to boot ! Friday 18th's Show

Well, that one went !! The best part of the show was our "My Classic Cuts" guest Nicki Banks. Nicki thank you very much once again for being such a great sport - some fantastic tracks and wonderful chat, even if the technical gremlins did creep in ! we now look forward to next week's show when our guest is a local business lady who really knows her stuff !! A Personal Plea

OK Guys, I know you may think that this is pure cheese but I really think that this song is due for a re-release. Having listened to countless 70s Internet radio stations playing it on a daily basis I really do feel that it deserves a second chance. I hope that you take the same view. My aim is to get the record company to re-release this track through popular demand - even as a charity fund raiser. Please help!!

Friday 11th Show - Thank you

A big thank you to Andy Garside from the Double Decade show for coming in and taking part in the "My Classic Cuts" feature. It was great to do another "live" one and there was some great music picked, a REAL Motown connoisseur! Only 7 days to go until the next one. I am starting to get a little nervous as our guest next week runs her very own Boot Camp - GULP!!!!!

Show Details

Classic Cuts is a show that goes out every Friday night on North Cotswold Community Radio. Every Friday you can sit back and listen to Two hours of music from the 60s 70s 80s and 90s. Features include The Extended Soul Section, The Disco Decade, One Hit Wonder, The Cover Story and "My Classic Cuts", 4 tracks picked and introduced by a member of the local community. The show is then available on the "Listen Again" facility for 2 weeks from the Saturday morning. Gives us a try - hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised.
